No tour in Arhus

Denmark for the Second Time

View Summer, 9-11-2001 - and then the 2nd time down the ICW & 2009 Baltic Cruise & Bermuda on greatgrandmaR's travel map.

June 21 - Arhus

I canceled the tour for today because I thought (correctly) that we would be tired from the long tour yesterday.

I was looking for a sweater for my husband like I had seen in Tallin but didn't have enough money with me to buy, but I didn't find anything here.

Our travel agent Cal gave us a Pinnacle Grill dinner as a gift (thank you Cal) and this was the day we had made reservations for that - I figured it was formal night anyway and we wouldn't have to rush to get ready as we were not going on a tour.

They said the options were 1730 or 2030, so we picked 1730.

The guy came around with his plate of choice meat and explained it to us, but neither of us wanted that much meat. They also gave us a dish of olive oil and also a

When we ordeed they told us that if we wanted a souffle for dessert we should order it now because it took a half an hour to do. So I ordered the chocolate souffle. B actually ate a full meal. She had

When it came time for dessert there was a long wait for it. B ordered the cherries jubilee which was made with Ben and Jerry cherry ice cream. They brought it to the table and poured liquer on it and lighted it for her.
